Short version: we collect what we need to run the platform, we don't sell it, and we don't do anything weird with it.
What we collect
Your email address, display name, and callsign when you register. Flight data generated by SimConnector — position, altitude, speed, aircraft type, fuel state, and flight events like takeoff and landing. Usage data like which pages you visit on the Pilot Hub. That's about it.
What we don't collect
Anything we don't need. We don't run ad tracking, we don't fingerprint your device beyond what's necessary for session security, and we don't buy or import third-party data about you.
Why we collect it
Flight data is the whole point of the platform — without it there's no logbook, no flight scoring, and no economy. Account data is needed to identify you. Usage data helps us understand what's working and what's broken.
Who we share it with
Nobody. We use third-party infrastructure (hosting, database, email delivery) but those providers process data on our behalf under strict agreements — they don't get to use it for their own purposes. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with partners. We don't have partners.
How long we keep it
Your account and flight data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we'll remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated flight statistics may be retained for platform analytics.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email us. We'll sort it out.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your theme preference. No advertising cookies, no third-party tracking cookies. If you decline cookies, the site still works — you'll just need to log in every visit.
